Silk Boutique Open from 2:30pm to 6:30pm from Tuesday to Sunday in April, May, June, September and October. Open all week Sunday included, from 10:30am to 6:30pm in July and August.

Set off on a voyage of discovery of life in the Ardèche in days gone by (bread oven, forge, olive mill, farm tools) by taking a tour of an authentic "mas" (Provençal farmhouse) which belonged to the Reynaud family, the ancestors of Alphonse Daudet.
They made a fortune out of silk, and you'll learn about the silk production cycle in the "magnanerie" - the silkworm farm, with its live silkworms. The rural life of the Reynauds inspired the author of "Letters from my Windmill", whose life and works you'll discover during the guided tour (writings, illustrations, unpublished poems).
