Lagorce

Lagorce boasts a rich history and is the biggest town in Ardèche (7.000 ha, i.e. 17.300 acres).
Places to see:
Ma Magnanerie Museum is a silkworm farm. The museum talks about sericulture in the region and rears silkworms and cocoons.
In the village: the Protestant church, the belfry, the ‘place de la Dîme’, the silkworm farms, the ‘sentier des endettés’… Ask for a map of the village at the grocery store, the town hall or the museum.

La Chapelle Notre Dame d’Adjude on the botanical trail
Botanical trail: The walk lasts between 1h and 1h30 and is adapted for everyone. It is waymarked from the village and starts from the Salastre valley down the Adjude woods. The walk goes by the chapel Notre Dame d’Adjude. Along the path, several signposts give you information on the plants and trees you see (names are written in French, Latin, Occitan, English and German). On this trail, you will observe most of the plants of the region.

‘Les balcons de l’Ibie’ tour: 2h30, 7.6 km (4.72 miles). Intermediate level. Panoramic viewpoint overlooking the river Ibie.
‘Serre Rimbaud’ tour: 4h, 11km (6.83 miles), for experienced walkers. The walk starts from the place called ‘Leyris’.
